Findr is not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are stored so we can deliver them and keep the platform safe. We do not routinely read private conversations. Our trust and safety team may access messages when investigating a report, safety concern, or suspected violation of our Terms, for example harassment, scams, threats, or illegal content. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your report enters our moderation queue. Our team may review the reported profile, photos, and relevant messages. We may warn, suspend, or ban the user, remove content, or take no action if no violation is found. You may not always receive an outcome notification, but we take every report seriously.

Harassment, hate speech, violence, nudity/pornography, scams, impersonation, spam, underage use, and illegal activity are prohibited. AI-generated or misleading profile photos intended to deceive others are also not allowed. See our full Terms of Service.

Always meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. Never share personal information like your home address, workplace details, or financial information until you've built trust over time.

Watch for people who: push for personal information too quickly, refuse to video chat, have inconsistent stories, ask for money or financial help, pressure you to meet immediately, or show aggressive or controlling behavior.

Use the report feature in the app if someone violates community guidelines, harasses you, or engages in suspicious behavior. You can access this by going to their profile and selecting "Report". We take all reports seriously and review them promptly.

Meet in public, bring your own transportation, don't leave your drink unattended, and have an exit plan. Let someone know where you are, and check in with them during and after the date. Trust your gut and leave if you feel uncomfortable.

Be cautious about sharing private or intimate photos. Remember that anything shared online can potentially be screenshot or saved. Only share photos you'd be comfortable with others seeing, and never feel pressured to send photos you're uncomfortable with.
